Lindsey Dixon, DVM

Dr. Lindsey Dixon grew up in Carthage, Tennessee, where she enjoyed shadowing her grandfather, Dr. Gordon Petty. She graduated from Smith County High School, and then went on to study at Tennessee Tech University. After early admission into the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. In 2009, she opened Smith County Animal Clinic.

Dr. Dixon lives in Carthage with her husband, T.J., and their two wonderful children, Ella and Wyatt. Her pet family includes 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, and a chicken. In her free time, Dr. Dixon enjoys gardening, traveling, and horseback riding.
